Crystallizer system structure and working principle:
1) The PET crystallizer system is mainly used for extruder machines or injection machine, and if the extruder machines and injection machines don’t have drying function themselves, they will need an independent dehumidifying drying system.
2) The crystallizer system will be used before dehumidifying drying system, because the PET flakes/virgin pellets cannot afford such higher temperature as 180℃ in drying hopper, they will stick with each other and block in drying hopper, so a pre-crystallizer system before drying system will be necessary, because it can solve the stick and block problem in drying hopper perfectly.
3) The crystallization system is an independent heating cycle. The high-pressure centrifugal fan is blown into the heating box and the crystallization tower, and then the air flow is discharged from the top of the crystallization. After passing through the cyclone separator and filter, it enters the fan to heat and stir the materials to achieve the purpose of crystallization.
4) The inner layer of the barrel is made of stainless steel mirror panel, the middle is insulation layer, and the outer barrel is covered with A3 plate and embossed aluminum plate.
5) The pre crystallization time is about 2 hours, and a reducer with an output shaft speed of about 3rpm is installed on the top. The mixing shaft is equipped with a special pressing blade like paddle, which can reduce the resistance of the slices during slow mixing and act as an upward “lifting” to effectively prevent the adhesion of crystal slices and reduce dust. It is different from the ordinary simple paddle of general manufacturers, which is also one of the characteristics of this equipment.
6) The electric heating box adopts electric heating pipe, and the crystallization tower is also equipped with over temperature alarm and power-off device.
7) During operation, the set temperature of hot air can only be preliminarily controlled within the range of 110-120 ℃, and the appropriate air inlet temperature is finally deduced from the air outlet temperature of 90-100 ℃ at the top of the pre crystallization. Because the air outlet temperature at the top is the key heating temperature for the non pre crystallized chips to be put into the container, the “glass transition” temperature of PET chips is about 69 ° C, but it is easy to produce bonding phenomenon when contacting with too high temperature, so it must be strictly controlled.
8) The dust carried out by the return air of the top cover of the pre crystallizer is separated and deducted by the cyclone separator, and the dust and fine particles fall into the collection bucket at the lower part. The barrel and the extension pipe at the bottom of the spin separator can be sealed by high-temperature pipe and hoop. When the dust reaches 80%, it should be poured out during shutdown.
9) The hot air after dust removal by the cyclone enters the crystallization tower through an air filter.
So it always keep the circulating hot air for the crystallization drier.
10) Clean the powder storage barrel for several days, and frequently open the filter inspection door to check whether the filter is blocked or damaged.
